Context in Al-Mulk (Ayah 24)
Say: He zara'akum fil ard—scattered you in the land—and ilayhi tuhsharoon you will be gathered. Tafsir connects dispersion with eventual hashr, undoing arrogance of feeling lost in crowds.
Zara' implies multiplication and spread across regions; gathering answers mockery “when is this promise?” in next ayah. Population growth itself is sign of power to resurrect.

Reflection on Creation
This ayah invites quiet consideration of scattered through earth and gathered back to Him. Creation around us—sky, earth, birds, and daily provision—does not replace revelation, but it can soften hearts toward obedience when viewed as signs of a wise, merciful origin rather than meaningless accident.
