Why a glossary, not another Tabarak post
We already have a post on Surah Tabarak as a nightly handle and another on the word Tabarak. This page answers a different job: all the names in one extractable list, including Al-Mani’ah and Al-Munjiyah, which those posts do not own.
The names
Al-Mulk
The Dominion / Sovereignty
The canonical surah name. Mulk is the kingdom that belongs to Allah alone.
Tabarak / Tabarakalladhi
Blessed / exalted is He
Taken from ayah 1. Linguistic essay: meaning of Tabarak. Nightly handle: Surah Tabarak blog.
Al-Mani’ah (Al-Maani’ah)
The protector
Hadith title tied to protection from grave punishment. Practice lives on the grave-protection page — this row is the name only.
Al-Munjiyah
That which saves
Companion title in reports about the surah’s intercession and rescue.
Al-Waqiyah
The defender
Often listed with Al-Mani’ah. Not a separate surah.
