Context in Al-Mulk (Ayah 26)

Allah tells the Prophet: qul innama al-'ilmu 'ind Allah wa innama ana nazeer mubeen—knowledge of the Hour is with Allah; you are only a clear warner. Tafsir separates prophetic role from divine exclusive knowledge.

Mubeen clarifies warnings without exaggeration or hiding uncomfortable truths. Messenger delivers; Allah decides timing and unseen details.

Classical commentators use this to refute fabricators who claimed dates for Qiyamah.

Family & Bedtime Practice

Recite Al-Mulk knowing prophetic role is warning with clarity; some Muslims read it before sleep following longstanding devotion (see Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2892, graded Da'if by Darussalam on sunnah.com). After reciting ayah 26, ask each child which word in the Arabic sounded clearest and look it up in the word table together.
