This Surah Mulk quiz has 24 questions in three levels, from basic facts to meaning and reflection. Every answer comes straight from the text of Surah Al-Mulk (chapter 67) or from Quran.com's chapter data, with the verse number so you can check it yourself. English quotations use the Sahih International translation as published on Quran.com.

Use it for family study circles, weekend Islamic school, a Qur'an club or your own revision after memorizing. Read the questions aloud, give a minute to think, then reveal the answer and read the verse together.

How to use this quiz

  • Level 1: Basics (8 questions). Facts about the surah: its number, length and place in the mushaf. Good for children and beginners.
  • Level 2: What the surah says (10 questions). Each question points to a specific verse. Good after reading a translation.
  • Level 3: Reflection (6 questions). Open questions with no single "right" wording, built on verses that invite reflection. Good for teens and adults.

Keep a copy of the surah open, either in the mushaf or in our Surah Mulk in English page, and look up each verse after the answer is revealed. The point is to spend more time with the words of the surah, not to win.

Ways to run the quiz

At home: ask one question each night after Isha, and read the verse it comes from. In a month you will have gone through the whole quiz, and probably the whole surah.

In class: split students into two teams. Level 1 questions are worth one point, Level 2 are worth two. Level 3 questions are not scored; ask each team to share one thoughtful answer instead.

For memorization: if you are learning the surah by heart, use Level 2 questions as checkpoints. When you can answer a question, try reciting the verse it comes from. Our guide on how to memorize Surah Mulk has a full plan, and the memorization tracker helps you mark progress.

For a study circle: give each person two Level 2 questions to prepare at home. At the next meeting, they ask their questions, read the verse aloud in Arabic and English, and share one thing they noticed. It turns the quiz into a shared reading of the whole surah.

For children: use Level 1 and the easier Level 2 questions (9, 12, 14, 17). Our Surah Mulk for kids guide has more child-friendly activities.

A note on sources

This quiz deliberately sticks to what can be checked directly: the Arabic text, the Sahih International translation on Quran.com, and Quran.com's chapter information. We have not included questions about rewards or virtues, because those depend on hadith reports and scholarly discussion that deserve careful sourcing of their own. If you want to explore that topic, start with our virtues of Surah Mulk page and consult a qualified teacher.

Translations differ in wording. If your group uses a different English translation, the meaning of each answer will be the same even if the words change. Our translations compared page shows several side by side.
